Our custom-designed, short-term mentorship program is tailored to help estheticians refine their skills and expand their expertise in the treatment room. We’ll work together to identify areas where you can grow and provide further training to boost your confidence.

What’s Included:

    •    One-on-One Sessions: Enjoy personalized mentorship with Jess, where each session is customized to fit your unique learning path. Prior to starting, we’ll discuss your specific needs to create a tailored lesson plan.

    •    Exclusive Educational Materials: Gain access to GFA’s exclusive educational resources, which you can take home and use as ongoing references to continue your growth after the mentorship.

    •    Certificate of Completion: At the end of the program, you’ll receive a certificate to demonstrate your enhanced skills, which can be shared with prospective employers. This credential sets you apart, showing your dedication and passion for the industry. You may also list Jess as a reference on your resume.

Program Commitment:

    •    4-5 days, with 2-3 hours of training per day. You have one month to complete the five days.

Join the NYS ESTHETICS State Board Practical Preparation with Jenna J.,LE, where you’ll receive expert guidance from an industry insider with a 100% pass rate. Jenna has helped aspiring estheticians walk into their practicals feeling confident, prepared, and ready to pass with ease.

– A Two-Day Weekend Course Held Once a Month

Day 1: Kit Building & Breakdown

• Work alongside Jenna to build your own NYS esthetics kit, ensuring you have everything needed for practical day.

• Jenna will guide you through each item in your kit, explaining how and when to use the item so you feel completely prepared.

• All materials for your kit will be provided to you, and the kit is yours to use and keep.

• Kit Rental Option: If you prefer, you may rent an esthetics kit from GurlFace for a flat fee and an upfront deposit. The rental period is a maximum of 72 hours, after which the kit must be returned to GurlFace in order to receive your deposit back.

• Please note: If you choose to rent a kit, Jenna will not be reviewing its contents with you—you’ll be responsible for familiarizing yourself with the items.

Day 2: Hands-On Practical Training

• This day is dedicated to hands-on practice covering each step of the NYS Esthetics Licensing practical portion.

• You’ll receive real-time guidance and corrections from Jenna to ensure you’re executing techniques correctly.

• Gain confidence by practicing under exam-like conditions, so you know exactly what to expect on test day.

Flexible Course Options

• Students may bundle both days together for a comprehensive prep experience.

• If you already have your own kit (or plan to rent one), you can enroll in only the hands-on practical day!

• The student will be responsible for providing their own esthetics kit to use during their hands on practice. No kit will be provided from GurlFace and it is required to have one in order to complete this portion. The student must either use the kit they made with Jenna the day before, provide their own kit or, rent one to use from GurlFace.
